Sunday morning, coffee in bed with Hubby and Andrew Marr (a Sunday morning political commentary programme for those not from U.K.) 😉
As we have a full house, and ‘the smalls’ (what I have always called my kids) were out partying last night, so a full English is needed. This is more of a brunch as by the time the smalls have risen is nearly lunch time 🙄
It is generally called a ‘fry up’, but I prefer to use the oven to cook most of the component parts, Hubby does love a fried egg though 😊
A Full English varies not only regionally, but from house to house it’s about what you like.
We like good quality Sausages, bacon, free range eggs, mushrooms as a base selection, then maybe black pudding a choice of tinned plum tomatoes or baked beans with toast or fried bread – the kids like hash browns, but they are a new fangled addition 🤣
This meal is eaten with vast quantities of tea or coffee, Orange juice and in depth discussion about the previous night’s events 😊
To some this may look like a heart attack on a plate, but like with anything good in life, all in moderation 😇
For supper, jacket potatoes are available with various toppings for those that want/need them.
Enjoy your Sunday all x
