I am in the mood for a well know Style of chicken, but want to cook it in the oven so having had a rummage around the Internet have found a recipe using the herbs and spices I have in, have a look Here it’s in cups, so I have converted it.
I have defrosted 8 bonesless, skinless Chicken Thighs. They cook pretty quickly and taste lovely. Dry them off as best you can, I use kitchen roll to blot them dry.
Preheat the oven to 200
In a bag I mix half teaspoon each of sea salt, ground black pepper, garlic granules, onion powder, paprika and oregano. Mix together.
Place half the herb mix in a bag with 4 tablespoons of Veg oil – the other half mix with 250g plain flour.
Coat the Thighs with the oil mix, then coat in the herbed flour.
Put onto a ovenproof tray and into the oven for 35 minutes, turning half way through.
I chucked some Aldi French fries into the oven and steamed a couple of cobs of Sweetcorn
oven fried chicken – yum….
